Qwest has a feature on your caller ID called Security Screen that costs $2.95 a month which requires these anonymous callers to supply their phone number or a numeric code before their call can be completed. You might also try to dial *60 and then follow the prompts. It will ask you to enter the number to block. If you phone doesn't have this feature then call your phone company and see if they have a variation of this type of service.

OMG!!! they called me back after i called... and they were like...stop calling or we'll file a law suit...and i said...we are planning to fight back, you know...and then he said "oh" and then hung up...

well they are calling me now, but the jokes on them i never answer my phone to the people I know, so I know I wont be answering to them...lol... But on the serious note i wouldnt answer because I know sometimes companies can charge if you answer...

i know what you mean!!! they call my house all the time and what got me to thinking something was funny about the calls is my number is unlisted and they asked for me by name. then when i ask what they wont then they hang up or act like they dumb ass dont hear me and then they hang up the phone they need to stop calling people house and get a life. but if i ever find out who is doing the calling. im going to report there ass.

I recently started getting called by this number. I also tried calling back and no answer a recording says, "all circuits are busy now try again later". I therefore, googled and came to this sight. I don't know but it is almost going on a month receiving calls from 201-373-8371. I will pick up next time and select the option to remove my # from the list. I hope it works!

i had been having the same problem. the bad thing about the do not call list is that it cant stop all telemarketers. have you applied for credit or insurance or ANYTHING else lately? if you have then sadly its really not illegal. but the easiest way to stop it is just to listen and press 9 when it asks if you want to be removed from the list. an indian womans voice will play asking if youre sure. press 1 and the calls will stop

This number called my cel phone witch by the way is not even in my name and when i answered it there was a guty that alls he said was HELLO! like that was the only freaking english word he knows!.. When i looked at the caller ID on my cell phone it was a New Jersey number

I hear my own voice recorded from saying hello on previous calls. Is their an address in Costa Rica associated with this number ?

Yeah all the guy say is hello its kind of annoying and it needs to stop...how and why would someone keep doing this!

I have been getting calls from this number lately. The voice on the other end sounds like the very same guy who was calling me from toll free numbers with an offer of a $10,000 loan. When I called back, the person who answered the phones directed me to the manager or supervisor. When I spoke with the supervisors, they did not know what was going on. Two of the companies had pre-recorded messages saying their phone numbers had been hijacked and compromised. These people whoever they are needs to stop, NOW!!!!!!! I'm getting tired of my phone ringing all the time.

THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN CALLING ME FOR ALMOST A MONTH ANYWHERE FROM 3-10 TIMES A DAY. THE VOICE THAT SAYS HELLO IS A RECORDING THAT ONCE YOU SAY HELLO IT ACTIVATES THE MESSAGE IN WHICH THEY PROMISE $10,000 IN CREDIT LINE AND THEY WANT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO DEBIT $139.00 YEAH RIGHT!

the only thing left to do is change your number. they are using computer software (skype or other related product) to generate a phone number , that you cannot call back. good luck all.

I have call forwarding from my business to another # I figured the phone company hired him to call so it will run up my phone bill. I have no idea why this juy calls 2-3 tims a day. IT IS GETTING OLD THOUGH!!!!!!!!!

WE MUST ALL HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON ON HOW THIS PERSON WAS ABLE TO OBTAIN OUR NUMBERS (MINE IS UNLISTED?!) LIKE STOLEN INFO FROM A SPECIFIC WEBSITE, BANK, CREDIT CARD,... ETC ETC LETS FIGURE IT OUT!!!!

I have been getting these calls too from 201-373-8371 Jayshree I try to call back and get a busy signal. A guy will say hello when I answer the phone and then hang up. Who are these people? I am in WV. with an unlisted number and suppose to be on a no call list. any ideas to do

I also tried calling the (201) 373-8371 and was unable to get through. I then tried the (201)343-4050 number and some woman answered whose primary language clearly was not English. She then put a man on who insisted he had not been calling me. Next time the "Jayshree" calls I will try listening to the entire message and then after the message they give you the option of removing your number from their list, do as they say. WIll let you know if it works..

I too, have been getting these calls. Can anything be done. When I call back all I get is a busy. When they call it is a recorded message. I am on the do not call list, and they are breaking the law. I would love to nail them

I have been getting this number 2 and 3 times a day lately, when I didi a google search on this number it is supposedly listed as a number out of hacensack, NJ from blog posts I have read everyone says that it is automated. You will here a voice that says hello a couple of times. Don't even bother trying to call it back their phone system soesn't accept in-bound calls, the do not call list doesn't work either. I have tried everything I can think of. Supposedly you can choose the number and program your cell phone to block the number, that doesn't work for my phone either. I would just recommend calling your cell phone provider to have them block it.

I have been getting calls everday also from this JAYSHREE people and its annoying. I will try listening to the recording like you said and select the option of being removed and I hope that will work. what they are doing is harassment. I truly hate telmarketers especially when they are persistent after you have alrrady said "NO!" yesterday (Saturday) JAYSHREE called twicw. Today is Sunday so I will see if they call on Sunday too. This number has been calling me for over a month now. I come home from work and see that number on my caller ID. My boyfriens works third shift and its a good thing he is a sound slepper so he usually doesn't even hear the phone. Now me on the other hand am a light sleeper and always hear the phone so it really sucks to be woken up in the first place, but it sucks even more when it is these jerks! something needs to be done about this!

(201)343-4050 is just some girl's phone.. ask for jayshree sethna and she'll tell you you have the wrong number. i encourage you to do it though, why not spread the misery.

I have been getting 1 call per day from this number for the past 6 weeks, last week, it was twice a day, now it is 3 times per day!!! Something has got to be done!!!!

Read my previous post on here, try it, what I did by listening and pressing the numbers they requested to remove my number, seems to have work for the time being, we will see. After alittle more research, here is something else that I tried and we will have to see if it works, since I just did it. When they call, answer the phone, say hello, might have to say it twice, i did....anyway, listen to their message about your new $10,000 credit line, then after the message they give you the option of removing your number from their list, do as they say. So far, it has worked for me and I haven't gotten any calls from them all day, but we will have to see if that stops them, if it works, I will let you all know. Hope we can put a stop to this obviously fraudulant company.

They have called me every day for 3 wks.

They have been calling my cell phone 1-2 times a day for over 2 weeks at the same times. They don't leave a message and it doesn't say whom the number belongs to.
