They called 3 times in one hour. My daughter was home alone watching her two little brothers. Two of the messages were just breathing almost like they forgot to hang up the phone or something, it kind of freaked her out. The third time my daughter answered the phone and they immediately hung up. If they call again they better hope I don't answer the phone.

Called three times in an hour... we were not home for the first two... no message was left so I checked the log and found out it was from 613-688-3625 Gatineau QC. Looked it up on the net and found this info about it. The third call I answered and blew my husbands storm whistle (A survivor/safety one... listed as the loudist whistle in the world) into the phone as hard as I could. That ought to stop the calls from coming into our home.

same crap - but have called several times despite answering machine answer - no messages left, called on Sunday as well. One time the caller ID said " I Am Person". What is this crap?

I let the fax machine pick-up and they haven't called again. Guess they didn't like having their ear blasted. HAHA

I think my 19 y/o daughter spoke to them, cuz we got a ups letter from some "Audience Surveys' or something like that, gave it to my kid, didn't know that this is some hinky deal. I'll have to let her know. Does the Do Not Call Registry extend beyond our borders, or have these jerks found a new way to bother us?

Oh, I just played with them. I asked how old they were, and why they chose this proffession instead of a secretary position, how many kids they had, and when I asked what they were having for supper, they just hung up. I think I got my point across to them.

Caller ID said Gatineau, QC. They have called several times, never leaving a message. This morning the phone wakes me up and when I answer there is only a conversation with 2 people on the other end saying 'see, it doesn't work'. Some conversation amongst themselves... I update my Do Not Call Registry once a year to try and keep out these weeds! Must be a scam with all the different names on everyones caller ID's.

I've received calls from Ipsos N Am several times during the past two days. I have caller ID and as most people, will not answer calls that are unknown. I have just now called the number (613-688-3625) and received a message in Spanish giving me the option of a return phone call or having my number removed from their calling list. I left my number to be removed and told them that I was on the "Do Not Call List" and would report them if I received any more calls. We'll see what happens now. There are far too many scams in the world today, so one has to be very careful in answering any questions asked over the phone.

They have called me several times over the last few days but I let the answering machine pick up since I figured it was a telemarketer. I thought this would deter them. I am also on the do not call list. When they continued to call, I finally answered and heard their schpiel about how they weren't selling anything but wanted to ask some questions, blah blah blah (basically 'please excuse us while we invade your privacy without invitation'). No offense to the non-english speakers out there, but after reading elsewhere about this idea, I said, "eh...no english?" He said that wasn't a problem and what language DID I speak? I again repeated, "eh...no english...no english?!" He said thank you anyway, have a nice day, we won't bother you again. Nicely done! I've had no more calls from them. Faster than arguing about being on THE list, less hassel than waiting for a number to call to be removed, etc. Worked great!

I've been getting calls from this number for about a week now but we do not answer calls from "unknown". They call between 5:30 and 8:00. Usually more than once a day. We will not be answering their calls.I hate thes types of calls, especially when it's during time with my family! But I think I will answer just one time and set the phone down after I answer a couple of questions. Wonder how long they would stay on the line?????

I talked to them, they are asking about what shows you watch on TV. Also sending me a video I'm supposed to watch and they will call me back about feedback on the video.

They called today about 3:00 p.m. - I have caller I.D. which printed their number and "IPSOS N Am" -

I get calls from this number about twice a week. Rings 4 times, then when I answer, there is a dial tone. Caller ID says out of area, 613-688-3625.

Called at 5:34 PM Pacific Time. Left no message. Callerid says Ontario. Never thought I'd appreciate callerid but it sure keeps me from answering these stupid calls from companies who think the do not call registry doesn't pertain to them. Wonder who gave them my number???

Called me 3x today so far. From what the others say, I recall doing a survey from IPSOS recently regarding a young male college student. This call appears to conflict with the "privacy policy" of the survey site. IPSOS probably sells lists to other marketing companys. This is the last survey I do from Ipsos!

They called asking for phone sex XD I mean really people. That kind of stuff is frightening, right?

The company goes by "Audience Studies" or by "Ipsos-ASI". They continue to call. Their website is www.ipsos-asi.com Write them and ask to be removed from their calling list, as it's the only way to get action. Their 800 number is 800-595-8959 You can call that and ask to be removed but they seem to ignore requests.

This is a market survey company from Canada. If you call the number back, they give you the name of the firm, which I don't remember right now. I told them to put me on their no call list.

Just called me, said they were a survey company. The first thing asked pertained to whether or not we owned a DVD. The next 5 minutes were spent asking me about tomatoes! They wanted to know what brand I bought, how often, what variety, etc. Very strange!

Got a call just now - said they would not sell anything, just wanted to ask some things. Then asked if there were any males between the age of 18-65 in my household, I said yes, if they could speak to that person. I told them he was not home. Then asked me if there was a female in our household between the ages of 18-65. I said yes, that would be me. And then she said, "well we'll have to call back another time"....weird. Did not call back, but looked up online what this was all about. I am on the Do Not Call List, so I don't understand why I would get a call from them.
